Great Cup of Tea!

I have discovered the most delicious tea. It is called "Breathe Easy"...promotes Respiratory Health by Traditional Medicinals. I bought a box at Ingles Grocery because I've been having problems with asthma. The directions said to drink three cups a day.

I thought it might taste like medicine, especially because the directions said to steep the tea 10 - 15 minutes. I gave it 10 minutes and added a few drops of Stevia (a natural sweetener). DELICIOUS!!! And after two days I do believe I'm breathing easier!!!

If you have any breathing problems or if you just want a cup of good tea, I highly recommend it.

Did you say tea? Oh now you KNOW I just love tea. Having tea parties with little girls or little ole ladies or good chums -or even sipped in solitude, it's one of those deliciously calming things.

Glad to hear about the "Breathe Easy" brew, for I have been blessed with that thorn also. If I stay out of smokey, musty, mildewy and overly dusty places I am ok. Have to say that stress can aggrevate also. Now realistically we cannot totally avoid all those things, but we can try.

Speaking of STRESS, I was needing some relief from that little boogie and decided to do something DRASTIC. So......a little ditty came swirling into my musical mind and began to take form:

"I took some money from a sock
Went to the store & bought a frock
Oh what a shock!
What a way to deal with stress
Go out and buy a purdy dress
And then confess!"

The whole process took less than 30minutes and I sat in my car, laughing at myself. Then to share the moment, I called Dorothy and SANG it to her! Now you have to be brave to croak out a tune to the FAMOUS lady of song. We both got a laugh and that was worth it all. No, I will not get a picture of me and the famous lady in my new frock. Nope.

Hello there, Dorothy. A friend of mine here in Blue Island told me about a treatment for asthma. It works for pneumonia and general chest congestion. You get someone to rub you down with ice water--front and back--three times in a row. after each ice application, you get thoroughly rubbed down with a towel. So it goes ice water on the back--rub down with towel. Ice water on the front--rub down with towel, etc. until both sides have been done three times. Then you wrap up in a blanket and stay warm for a half hour to an hour. In four hours, you do this again, and then four hours later again. The number of four-hour intervals depends on the severeity of the issue. Sounds awful, doesn't it? I've done it on Ethan for his asthma, and it works! After two treatments and a night's sleep, he is already coughing up the gunk, and his lungs are clearing out. It shortens his recovery if he lets me do it several times over a couple of days.

Sounds rather chilly but hey....if it works what can I say?
